As a guardian of national critical information infrastructure, Data Center A is responsible for storing and processing enormous volumes of sensitive data. It operates under strict security requirements and handles large daily data traffic.
Before the upgrade, the data center encountered multiple operational difficulties. Traditional lock and key management posed significant risks, including: key control issues, vulnerability to technical bypass, lack of real-time monitoring, no audit trail of access events, inability to manage permissions, and challenges in accountability.

Yeeka’s IoT locks and networking accessories provided Data Center A with an intelligent, full-chain, and traceable access control solution. As a result, the data center of a certain unit under Beijing Public Security Bureau achieved intelligent operation and maintenance management for its cabinet access.
The upgrade covered four floors of core data rooms, involving 728 high-density cabinets, and addressed three major security challenges:
The network platform allows real-time viewing of the switch status of cabinet locks and abnormal alarms (such as violent damage, illegal unlocking), improving response speed;

The project configuration consists of electronic locks, wired controllers, network switches, and a locally deployed management platform. Every four electronic locks are connected via cable to one wired controller. Each controller is powered by a 12V supply from the server rack PDU and connected via LAN cable to a designated switch port. Authorized personnel can then access the management platform from any terminal within the local intranet to monitor device status, manage hierarchical permissions, and visualize operations.
